Carta d'Amir Or, poeta, traductor i editor israelià

Dear sir,
I heard with alarm about the drastic cuts of budget of the Institució de les Letres Catalanes.
Culture is the true ID of its people, and culture is the reflection of its fatherland. It takes a hard work and a lot of creativity to make culture flourish, but it takes very little to undermine it.
As a poet I know what's at stake, and would like to ask you to reconsider these steps. Please preserve the independence of the Institució de les Lletres Catalanes under its actual status of "Entitat Autònoma del Departament de Cultura" and let the creative work go on.
